  23. > Added a workaround for a bug in Microsoft's WIN32s version 1.3.  This version of WIN32s may have been installed on your PC by other applications (including Netscape).

  28. > You must register in order to connect to the Reservation System. To register, select "Registration" from the "Tools" menu and enter the required information.

  33. 3. Port speed fix for US Robotics modems
  34. ------------------------------------------------------------
  35. Release 1.0 of United Connection used invalid port speeds for US Robotics modems, which prevented them from connecting to the Reservation System. This problem has been fixed.

  38. 4. Updating the Registry in Windows 95
  39. ------------------------------------------------------------
  40. If you install United Connection with either Windows 3.1 or 3.11 and later upgrade to Windows 95, your Windows 95 Registry will be updated with information from the UCONNECT.INI file.

  43. 5. Mouse is required

  45. A mouse is required for Release 1.0.1 of United Connection.

  48. 6. Large fonts display problem
  49. ------------------------------------------------------------
  50. If you have selected a "large fonts" video display option, you may notice display problems in United Connection (such as overlapping text). To correct this problem, choose a "small fonts" video display option.

  53. 7. Selecting travelers

  55. In the "Select Travelers" dialog box, if all your travelers are not visible in the list and there is no scroll bar, use the down arrow key to activate the scroll bar.

  58. 8. Car confirmation number

  60. When you reserve a rental car, some car vendors do not return a confirmation number immediately. If you retrieve your reservation after 48 hours and the confirmation number is still not available, please contact the car vendor for confirmation.

  63. 9. Opening a document in Windows 95

  65. If you are using Windows 95 and have United Connection open, you will not be able to launch a document by double-clicking on it.

  68. 10. POINTER.EXE problem

  70. If you are using POINTER.EXE, you may experience problems when trying to re-install United Connection. If this occurs, close all Windows applications and try again.
